The Sopranos Family Cookbook: As Compiled by Artie Bucco

The Sopranos Family Cookbook: As Compiled by Artie Bucco Review

I received this as a gift. As an Italian-American and an excellent cook, I was a little insulted. Well, I got over it in the first few minutes of perusing this book. This is what growing up on the East coast in an Italian-American family tastes like. The recipes brought back the sweetest, happiest memories. Michele Scicolone provides truly authentic recipes. As for the Soprano’s blurbs, I can take them or leave them. I actually refer to this book often when cooking. Even though I own about 60 cookbooks, I consider this book one of my top 5. If you are looking for that Italian-American food experience, this is your book. If you’re Italian and you want a collection of recipes your grandmother and your mother cooked for the family, this is your book. You can’t go wrong.
