He’s a mirage, a bad Santa in a fancy suit who intends to play Robin Hood; he will stoop low enough to insure that the “Rules of Radicals” (under a disguise) will be taught in your schools.  Community service is great, but parents not Obama should decided if community service is a good fit for their children. 

He truly thinks he’s some kind of God and he wants to take over your children’s education and add new requirements for the college crowd and last but not least he’ll be in charge of spreading the wealth.  Don’t think that’s Robinism – think that’s more like Socialism!

Most prominent people want to share their accomplishments, but not Obama – makes one wonder if there is in fact anything worth discussing.  He seems ashamed of his schooling and totally refuses to share his college years with us.  His soft shoe attorney shuffle is getting old!

He once stated when asked about his Illinois Senate records that there wasn’t any – wow the only senator in US history without a record during his 8 years in the Illinois Senate.  Oops, Senator Obama as an afterthought said he might have thrown them away …

When I checked his website again, it seems that he just can’t quite get the truth out.  Yep, it’s true that he and Lugar went to Russia – did I forget to mention Obama went for the shoeshine and Lugar went for the publicity. 

Another claim to fame from Obama is his uncanny way of uniting the unions, farmers, auto companies and businesses in general.  Come with me and take a gander at his US Senate record.

Let’s see, he voted 90 plus times to raise taxes and he’s bound and determined to smack our corporations, farmers and auto companies with a huge tax increase.  The poor farmers and small business people remain are non existent to Obama – he just wishes they’d all go away.  Take a peek at his voting record in the US Senate.

BIG NO on this one: To protect small businesses, family ranches and farms from the Death Tax by providing a $5 million exemption, a low rate for smaller estates and a maximum rate no higher than 35%.  3/13/08 

And yet another BIG NO: To protect the family budget from runaway Government spending by increasing the number of Senators necessary to waive the PAYGO Point of Order from 60 to 100.  In fact guys, he really hates the middle class, farmers, senior citizens and small businesses.

Speaking of children Barack, weren’t you the one who voted a BIG NO: To increase access to health insurance for low-income children based on actual need, as adjusted for cost-of-living:

One More No, Barack: To codify the unborn child rule.  Remember third trimester babies aren’t human beings to Obama.

Hey, here’s a new one on me – his web page says he’s been a leading voice for ethic reforms that would pretty much zap the corruption in Washington.  Who is this guy kidding – this is the pot calling the kettle black.  Check his voting record, he jumped into the “No” mode every time someone tried to make the government a little more honest and accountable. 

Rating 1 to 10 would be something like this for “Obama Who”:  Minus 10

1.       Leadership – zilch no record of real leadership in the Senate

2.      Decision making – he has a real problem here.  Obama was usually a “No Show,” which is self explanatory or he took the position of “Present,” which means I really can’t make a decision for my country.

3.      Country First – absolutely not, he hates women, children, farmers, small business and of course the seniors.

4.      Budgeting – never had to learn, he has an unlimited amount of funds from the radicals, lobbyists, special interest groups and some of those foreign guys across the sea.

5.      Character & Reputation – that’s anyone’s guess, he won’t disclose his whereabouts, his employers or his great community services with any of us for the past 15 to 20 years.

So there you are America, it’s your call, your decision and you better believe I know the two mavericks I’ll be voting for come November 4th, 2008.  “May God Bless Each and Everyone.”

Is Obama eligible to be president of the United States? If he is why hasn’t he or his attorney answered the Philip J. Berg lawsuit? A lawsuit alleging that Barack Obama is not a “natural-born citizen” of the United States took an unusual twist this week, after a federally mandated deadline requiring Obama’s lawyers to produce a “vault” copy of his birth certificate expired with no response from Obama or his lawyers. 

What’s to hide? Why not just simply provide the copy? Or did he?

Is the copy that Barack provided a forgery? At minimal, it’s totally incomplete. The 2007 document produced by the Obama campaign omits key information that normally appears on birth certificates in the United States, including the name of the hospital where he was born, the size and weight of the baby, and sometimes the name of the doctor who delivered him. Additionally, the critics of the 2007 document note that Obama’s father is described as “African,” a term used today. The formal language in official documents at the time — 1961 — would have identified his race as “Negro” or “Colored.”

Interesting? Conspiratorial? Neither?

Basically doing nothing raises questions and is inviting even more lawsuits than the Berg filing. Nevertheless, in recent weeks, lawsuits have been filed in seven additional states demanding that Barack Obama produce an original vault copy of his birth certificate, to dispel the rumors that he is not a natural-born United States citizen. The latest have been filed in state and federal courts in Hawaii, Washington, California, Florida, Georgia, New York, and Connecticut to compel Obama to release his birth records. Lawsuits in Washington and Georgia are seeking state superior courts to force the states’ secretary of state, as the chief state elections officer, to require Obama to produce original birth records from Hawaii, or else decertify him as a candidate for the presidency.

So. What happens if we discover that Obama was born in Kenya and not Hawaii and he’s been elected to an office he doesn’t qualify for? Who wants to go there? Maybe he’ll answer it all in his 30 minute TV buy and we can all relax, except the conspiracy theorists who basically won’t accept any answer- which is why they are…..conspiracy  theorists.

That Obama has won and since emerged the youngest and the first ever African-American President is now history but as usual quite a lot of lessons abound for Nigeria and other African countries especially Kenya, Egypt, Zimbabwe and others but for certain reasons the derivable lessons from this the conduct and emergence of Barrack Obama victory as presented here will be limited to the Nigerian Government.

If this election was to be held in Nigeria, certainly innumerable difficulties forbidding the victory of Obama would have arisen, trust our government officials who in their usual manners egregiously hold on to many unnecessary political of orders in solving minute matters of interest to the nation. An Obama would have been unthinkable in the Nigerian political scenario, considering that his father originally would not have been a Nigerian, the Nigerian elders of politics would have labeled him a non indigene coming to reap where his daddy did not sow. Tribalism has many a times done many damages to our politics.

It is a one forward and three steps backward that no matter how long one has lived in any particular region of Nigeria it does not make him eligible to contest election in that very region of the country, even if he was born there. In order words, an Igbo man remains an Igbo man no matter where he was born, a Fulani man remains a Fulani man no matter how long he has lived in Oghara. Here was an Obama, a fourth generation family originally from Kenya because his father was from Kenya wonderfully and constitutionally allowed to contest and wins election in far away United States of America.

From inception, the politics of Nigeria has been characterized by tribalism and godfather factor. Tribalism especially has forbidden many visionary personalities from contesting and winning elections in any part of the country and meaningfully contributes to the development of such regions. Even in our presidential elections, the system of rotation has crept in because a particular region of the country has in certain indescribable means dominated the political leadership of the country to the wonderment of other regions. We have now learnt from Obama that tribalism does not matter but policies. Americans voted for policies not tribalism.

In Nigeria age is a factor, while the highly developed society such as USA has since discarded age into the waste paper dustbin. Our elders here are still of the opinion that until one is aged, he actually has nothing to offer much more become the president of our dear nation. If anyone at 47 is contesting the presidential election in Nigeria what happens to our Babas and Mamas who posses all the wherewithal and knowledge to pilot every affair of this nation? It would have been thoroughly difficult for an Obama at a very tender age to win a presidential election in this country, when actually he should have been kowtowing to his elders.

The problem of Nigeria at the moment starts with too many political parties in existence many of who wishes to merely form a party and regularly collect a little allocation from the government or at least seek cheap political publicity. Nigeria does not require more than two political parties as two political parties naturally draw a line between a ruling and opposition parties. Besides, it is always easy to manage two political parties, and constant defection from one party to another forgetting that party and not personality is highly regarded for victories sustained in elections. Ibrahim Babangida was able to score political victory in his June 12 election not minding the annulment of that election because he operated a two-party system which naturally forbids tribalism thus bringing about unity. Two-party remains the best for the country. Anyone who thinks otherwise is mistaken as proven by Obama.

The press should also stop giving attention to political parties without a local government, only serious-minded candidates should be shown attention, to avoid waste of time, energy and resources.

Publicity has also proved to be very vital in electioneering, in the USA presidential election about $3million was spent on daily basis for this purpose, and this is one area we are lacking in this country, campaigns are naturally bound to follow publicities but quite often, we have candidates and even perceived electoral winners foisted on us. The recent 2008 LG election in Lagos State shows that a candidate not even known by the people, only selected by certain godfathers in unknown and unconvincing circumstances can find his way to the political offices without the massive support of voters. It is the fear of this that dissuades voters from voting since it is believed that it does not matter whether one votes or not, a winner must always emerge. Obama and McCain reached people.

Internal democracy was at work within the parties in USA unlike what transpired in 2008 Lagos LG election where primaries within political parties were shunned by people who described themselves as party godfathers fostering on us all candidates not known to us under mysterious circumstances

The incumbent president of USA did not give explicit support to any of the candidates, an Obasanjo would have held the hand of one of the candidates and sing Christian victory songs in support of his personal choice which must now become the general choice of the everyone, including you and me because I bet he must win the election whether the Devil likes it or not. There certainly was no compromise in order not to cause division. There was no violence as cutlasses were not used to strike anyone, dead or alive; every local government resources were released. No ballot boxes were fraudulently stuffed up or stolen.

There was also a timely release of results within hours, and no one has protested or even indicated interest to head for the courts to prove a case of large scale of electoral malpractice as we would have seen a man in “agbada” threateningly do. A McCain immediately congratulated an Obama, and his speech remarked that he had fought a good fight, asking his supporters to support the Obama.

We sincerely hope that our Electoral Reform Committee at work has taken note of all these so that we can see less of imposed candidates on us and thoroughly see true visionary winners coming to offer us true policies that will change our already rubbished socio-political and economic situations of the country.  

Affluent urban professionals are so happy that Obama is our next president! They’re educated and urbane and liberal and they are simply in love with our elected leader, for a change! But now that they’ve finally gotten over their election night party hangovers, they’re starting to realize: whoa, these Democrats might not be so good for our beloved Fashion/ Advertising/ PR/ Entertainment industries, which give us affluent urban professionals our paychecks! After the jump, we take a brief look at how these industries of liberal elites really feel about the prospects of an Obama presidency:

Fashion: Fashionista types are so in the tank. The promise of Obama even lured Anna Wintour out of her Batcave to vote! So where does the huge industry trade group the American Apparel and Footwear Association stand on the issues? Well, they’re against anything that makes unions stronger, obviously. Not good. They’re very upset about China’s domination of the textile manufacturing sector. Obama will presumably push China on some issues, but he’s far from a protectionist. And they don’t want to have to compete with Federal Prisoners for government contracts. When Obama frees the oppressed, that won’t be a problem. Huzzah!

Advertising: Ad people love Obama so much they named him Marketer of the Year! But as Ad Age points out today, the industry is concerned about what the new administration might do on a number issues: Will they endanger direct-to-consumer drug advertising? Will they pass stricter privacy rules that cut back on the ability of marketers to profile people? Will they strengthen the FTC and the FCC to reverse rampant deregulation and media consolidation? The ad industry would not like to see any of those changes, all of which are objectively good for consumers.

Public Relations: Lots of CEOs of major PR firms were totally in the tank for Obama, including big ole Democrat Richard Edelman, and Michael Kempner of MWW, who was at the Chicago Obama rally personally, palling around with Oprah! But PR firms are worried about a lot of the same communications and media law issues that the ad industry is worried about. Media consolidation could be considered good for corporate PR practitioners, because it narrows down the number of channels they have to deal with and gives them greater leverage. Net neutrality, which Obama probably will support, is a toss up. Political flacks will make their money no matter what, just on different issues. Mainly the PR industry would like Obama to fix the economy so they don’t, you know, lose all their clients. The biggest loser in all of PR since the election, obviously, is this guy.

Entertainment: Hollywood liberals are so sickeningly in the tank we won’t even bother listing dozens and dozens of examples in order to support our assertion! Why not drive your Prius over to Leonardo DiCaprio’s house and talk about it with him? So then, what does the MPAA, the trade group that rules Hollywood, care about politically? Well they won’t stop talking about “piracy” of movies, for one, which is getting really tiresome and is unlikely to be a matter of great interest to a President mired in two wars. Besides that ridiculous obsession, they basically want free flow of trade to enable them to spread their sinful pictures to all corners of the globe, filling their coffers in the process. So Hollywood types should get along okay with the Obama administration.

He worked in NYC after Columbia with a New York Public Interest Research Group. Then in 1985 he moved to Chicago, and worked as a Community Organizer. In 1988 he joined Harvard Law School. There he became the first *Black* President of the Harvard Law Review. He graduated in 1991. *To avoid a color, use “culturally-mixed”* in your story. He married his wife, Michelle, in 1992, and they have 2 children.

He worked at a Law Firm, in Chicago and was a part-time lecturer at the University of Chicago Law School. He was elected to the Illinois State Senate in 1996, and re-elected in 1998 and 2002. In 2004 he was elected the junior Senator from Illinois to the United States Senate with 70% of the vote.

In 2007 he ran in the Democratic Primary and defeated Senator Hillary Clinton in June 2008 to be the Democratic Party’s Nominee for the President of the United States. He defeated Senator John McCain, the Republican candidate, in the general election to become the 44th President of the United States, and will be sworn into Office on January 20th, 2009.

This is an amazing story of Success in America.
